In close proximity to Cape Town but the park like size of the property, the surrounding mountains and the stream running through the magnificient gardens all contribute to a true country atmosphere. At night the only sound was that of waves breaking on the beach below. Old world charm, with very friendly and extremely efficient staff.

We liked everything, on arrival very friendly, professional and helpful staff. The room was nicely heated on arrival and everything so luxurious!! Spa bath was an absolute treat. Breakfast was divine and a wonderful selection of choices for any palette. Being nestled in this little forest with breathtaking views of Camps Bay in the middle of a big city makes this the perfect getaway, if you are living in Cape Town even better. A quick walk on the grounds down to the beach and you are close to all the action. Brilliant!!!

The hotel is in a fantastic location and the staff were so friendly, all our special requests were taken care of. I was treated to my 30th birthday and we decided to have room service as the view from the room is just breathtaking, we didn’t want to leave. What topped it all off, is that they made me a birthday cake which was a huge surprise :)

Thanks everyone for an AMAZING stay that was worth a thousand holidays. "The location was particularly good and awesome, so close to a disorganised, mediocre establishment as well as mountain.3. "It also was in the Von Kampff restaurant." Rewritten: The location of Camps Bay Retreat Hotel was fantastic, situated close to both the mountain and Von Kampff restaurant. A stay here felt like a dream come true and truly exceeded my expectations.
